The trailer of 'Godse' was released today at an event held in Hyderabad. The vigilante actioner is heading to theatres on June 17. Gopiganesh Pattabhi has directed the movie.

Speaking on the occasion, producer C Kalyan said that he is proud of having produced a meaningful film like 'Godse'. He added, "I have always felt bad that I never got to work with director (late) T Krishna (the acclaimed director of films like 'Prathighatana'). But I have got to work with Gopiganesh Pattabhi and I am happy. I have made 83 movies and I am most proud of 'Godse'. I have already paid Gopi advance for his next movie."

Guest and producer KS Rama Rao said that the name Godse has been heard in controversial and political contexts these days. "The Godse in 'Godse' is a different guy. His ways stun politicians and corrupt men. Satyadev's performance is brilliant. After watching 'Godse', I feel he can do a film like 'Khaidi'," he added.

The director thanked both C Kalyan and Rama Rao for supporting him and liking the movie. "My first film with Satyadev was 'Bluff Master'. He has shot for the pre-climax segment in 'Godse' in a single take," Gopi added.

Satyadev said, "When the film came my way, I wondered if a non-star like me can pull it off. The story suits a big star. The director told me all that the protagonist is expected to do is to provoke a thought in the audience and that I can do it. 'Godse' is a youth film. Only love stories are not youth films."

The film has Brahmaji in a key role. Sunil Kashyap and Sandy Addanki have composed music.
