Dear ladies and gentlemen, Karan Johar is all set to make a comeback with the seventh edition of Koffee With Karan. And, everyone, including us, are excited to watch what happens this time on the “Koffee couch”. If you ask us to describe the much-talked show in the world of Bollywood, then we must say that it's all about drama, confessions, entertainment, and lots of “fire”. The teaser, which was released on June 2, has already given us an update on the guest list. We have Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor-Sara Ali Khan and a couple of talented faces making their “Koffee debut.”
Well, as we gear up to watch our favourite celebrities spill beans and get into unfiltered conversation with host Karan Johar, we would like to look back at the time when Bollywood roasted KJo. Oh yes, we have the list read.
1.Shah Rukh Khan - Season 1, Episode 1
Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar share a great bond. And, no one needs proof. Do you? Well, during Karan Johar's first-ever KWK rapid-fire, Shah Rukh Khan, didn't disappoint. To the question, “An Indian film you wish you weren't part of?” Shah Rukh Khan, without giving a second thought, said, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.” Oops, that must have hurt.
2. Twinkle Khanna - Season 5, Episode 2
This episode, so far, has been one of the best. Be it Twinkle Khanna's unfiltered take on everything or Akshay Kumar's calmness, the couple was unbeatable. So what happened during the roast, you ask? Well, there were quite a few considering it was Twinkle Khanna on the couch. Our favourite pick? When Karan Johar asked Twinkle Khanna to choose the “coolest Khan” from the following - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Mrs Funnybones, staying true to her name, said, “Why don't you have one more Khan – Fawad Khan and you answer this question.” Karan Johar's reaction made us go ROFL.
3. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput - Season 5, Episode 9
Shahid and Mira's first appearance together on a talk show made a lot of heads turn. Their love story won a million hearts but what turned out to be the clear winner was Mira Rajput's question for Karan Johar. She wanted KJo to rank the actor in order of talent. Options - Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur. To this, Shahid enquires “why am I not on the list?” Mira's reply, “Because he never mentions you in any of his lists.” Karan Johar, once again, is left speechless.
4. Aamir Khan - Season 5, Episode 7
Aamir Khan, Bollywood's “Mr Perfectionist”, has wowed us with his impeccable humour on the “Koffee couch”. And, he lived up to our expectations when Karan Johar asked him, “One thing you dislike about the industry but have to pretend that you like it. Well, well, Aamir Khan said, “Your show.” Don't feel bad, KJo. We all love your show
5. Ajay Devgn - Season 6, Episode 7
Ajay Devgn and Kajol made us laugh with their banter on the show. From calling Kajol old to making fun of her Instagram pictures, the two gave major couple goals. And, when Karan Johar, during the rapid-fire round, asked Ajay, “One superstition that you are guilty of believing.” To this, Ajay quickly said, "I had this superstition that all your films with ‘K' work, till we did Kaal.”
