Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is one happy man. Need proof? Head straight to his Instagram timeline or even better, let us tell you all about it. On Monday, the actor shared a selfie in which he is grinning from ear to ear. Along with it, Farhan added a witty caption, which is a regular fixture on his Instagram posts. This time he said, “Too smiley for a passport photo I was told.” In the image, the actor is seen dressed in a pale orange T-shirt with unkempt hair. While the image may not be passport appropriate, fans of the multi-hyphenate conveyed their approval in the comments section.
That's not all. Farhan Akhtar also got support from Shabana Azmi, who is married to Farhan's father, lyricist Javed Akhtar. She wrote, “I was asked to have no expression for my passport photo and replied I'm an actress I can't be expressionless!”

Sharing the happy news a few weeks ago, Farhan Akhtar posted a picture of a Deadline report and wrote, “Grateful that the universe gifts these opportunities to grow, learn and in this case have a ton of fun while doing it.”
Replying to the post, Karan Johar said, “Amazing,” with heart emojis. Actress Vidya Balan said, “Woohoo …. That's awesome.” Farhan's friend Abhishek Bachchan too said, “Wow. Awesome.”
Farhan Akhtar's wife Shibani Dandekar replied with heart emojis. His sister Zoya Akhtar said, “Yay,” with heart and fire emojis.
