New Delhi: Riddhima Kapoor Sahani has shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram handle, remembering her late father, Rishi Kapoor, a day after filmmakers announced the release date of the latter's last film Sharmaji Namkeen. In the post, she shared two pictures-one reads a text, "Legends are forever," and the second is a still from a late legendary actor's upcoming movie. Along with the pictures, she wrote a long note, feeling proud to be the daughter of Rishi Kapoor. She also thanked actor Paresh Rawal for completing the film.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wrote, "It's been almost two years since dad left us physically, but his charisma is still felt and his legend is still alive and will forever be. Today, as I watch the last film of my father, actor par excellence, a devoted son and brother, a doting husband and the most wonderful dad in the universe; I feel immensely proud of being his daughter! Paresh ji thank you for completing the movie. The family will always be indebted for your kind gesture #sharmajeenamkeen".

Helmed by Hitesh Bhatia, makers on Wednesday announced that the last film of the late Rishi Kapoor, Sharmaji Namkeen, will release on March 31 on Amazon Prime Video.

Talking about Sharmaji Namkeen, it is about a retired man who discovers his passion for cooking after joining a women's kitty circle.

Apart from Rishi and Paresh, the film also stars Juhi Chawla, Satish Kaushik, Gufi Paintal, Taaruk Raina, Sheeba Chaddha, Isha Talwar and Suhail Nayyar in pivotal roles.
